Allergy Program

Many ear, nose, and throat problems can be caused by allergies. During your initial meeting, he will review your current symptoms as well as take a family history to determine if allergies might be playing a role in your condition.

If Dr. Davis thinks allergies may be the root cause, the first step is determining what you are allergic to. Dr. Davis and his team can then assist in the development of an individualized treatment plan based upon your allergy test results.

Our most common testing method for allergies is skin testing. During your visit, we will use a simple skin prick device and test your sensitivities to certain allergens. This test takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete and provides Dr. Davis an immediate assessment of your allergic condition.

In some cases, Dr. Davis may also recommend a blood test to diagnose your allergies. Results from a blood test will usually be available within 24-48 hours.
